@geezerette Thanks for reminding me to refridgerate the nut butter.We keep our house at 65 so I dont always refridgerate to make the product spread easier.

I just carefully stir it in the first time I open the jar and then store in the fridge.

@dex If interested you can buy a mixer just for this purpose.  It was recommened by Cook's Country.  Grandpa Wilmers Old Fashion Peanut Butter Mixer ($9.95) You replace the lid of the PB with this.  You can google it to see.

Mine doesn't last long enough to require refrigeration!

I got one of these because I was sick of the oil spillage over the jar

 

this gadget makes it so much easier

i store the jar upside down when it come from the store

IMO the immersion blender works the best to incorporate the oil back into the nut butters.

Do you think I could pour some of the peanut butter oil into my wok to use in doing a stir fry?
