Paper towels for me.  I would have to wash cloth towels after every use and buy them in bulk so I wouldn't have to wash a few at a time costing money (and I would never wash them with clothing) and could wash a full load. Even a hand towel is germy to reuse after one use. I have paper towels in the bathroom and kitchen at all times.  If I use a dishcloth to wash dishes it goes in the laundry to wait for a couple of weeks worth of dishcloths.  If I have only  a few dishes  I use a paper towel as a dishcloth.  As for using the same cloth to wipe hands and spills when cooking or baking - well it just is not sanitary.  At one time there was no other option but to use cloth towels.

Guilty of a Bounty habit I tried to break - and failed. Even bought these cloths which were supposed to be the equivalent of 300 paper towels. Never got the hang of them.

Nope. Rarely use paper towels and never paper napkins. Cloth and microfiber all the way.

Paper is expensive! I only use Viva and a roll usually lasts me 4-6 weeks.

Re: Paper towels - yes or no?

I stock up when paper towels go on sale & if I have a coupon (great) My DH thinks we get a free supply he uses so much & DD comes over for a visit asking if she can take a few rolls home. I buy microfiber towels at costco and love it for hard cleaning. I need a good strong cloth cleaning bathrooms (yes, wash them & 2 rinses hang them to dry) my kitchen sponge goes in dishwasher everytime I run it but 1st of the month the sponge is in the trash. Buy sponges at costco. I will thank whoever came up with the pick a size paper towel. Helps save a little for those small jobs. Wish DH would figure out it's pick a size on the roll so far he hasn't figured it out and I tell him all the time.

Paper towels here, buy them at Costco.  I noticed they have longer select a size now.   I like the smallest ones.   Think of all the water you save!  LOL

I've never liked sponges, they kind of gross me out.  I'd have to use a new one every day.

Re: Paper towels - yes or no?

I have to have paper towels because I don't buy tissues or paper napkins anymore.

We buy the Brawny half sheets.

Brawny Pic-a-Size are always a bit less than Bounty at our market and just as good if not better. I buy the XL rolls so that we don't have to change them so often.
