Just sharing (perhaps someone has already mentioned) I didn't see it:
Tonight I used his pan stovetop (just the bottom part). As I went to move the pan from the burner by the handles -- OUCH they were blazing HOT! It never occurred to me stovetop I would need oven mitt😯
So I'm putting this on here as I know many bought this TS pan. I absolutely love all his cookware BUT maybe (if they had mentioned in all the HSN presentations) I would have passed & opted for the Deen Brothers or the original durapan (ss style).
I read the use & care: doesn't mention handles get hot except in oven usage.

Seems they should go back to the drawing board with that one.

I just use potholders to move the pan. I love it.

for sure I will NOW!!! yes, i love that pan too -- just surprised since I have another pan (not cs) and has SS handles that I don't recall getting hot.

@homedecor1 I could not agree more. This was discussed on the forum previously -- which is the ONLY reason I did not get burned. I love the Curtis Stone cookware -- have just about every pot and pan he makes -- and this is the only piece I have that has this issue. I think it is ridiculous that the pan was manfactured this way. Given that it was -- it should have come with a major warning. I should also add that mine did not even come with the instruction sheet you pictured!

@homedecor1 Thanks! I thought it was a separate instruction sheet in your picture.

I have a CS pan like that which gets hot handles too on the stovetop. Caught me by surprise too. I also have a Deen Brothers pan with the short handles on the side. Not hot handles! My Deen Bros pan is very nice and probably as good as the CS pan for nonstick and easy cleanup.

I assume (yes I know what that means) anything sitting on a heat source will be hot. I use my oven mitts on all my pans.
Hope your burn heals quickly. I have an aloe plant for just such things when I do get burned. If you get the aloe on it quickly it takes away the sting and it doesnt blister.

I purchased these (2) from Amazon. Work great!
P.S. After an experience like yours!
