Anyone have one of these ovens? Don't think I have enough space. Amazon sells it for over $300.

I bought the Oster XL convection oven in Dec. 2015. It was the same oven that QVC has but had one glass door that pulled down.
I had nothing but trouble with it. Temp. was not consistent and burned some foods, took over 12-15 min. to come to the temp I set. If I opened the door to check on the food, the temp went down 25-50 degrees and took forever to come back to set temp. There is no sound that lets you know when the oven has reached the set temp. It takes up a lot of counter space and gets very hot. I exchanged the first one for a second at Oster's request and had the same issues with the second one. I bought a Breville smart convection oven and love it. Consistent results and doesn't sound "tinny" like the Oster. Be careful and do your homework.
Good luck.

I have this oven. I bought it at Target. It is my second Oster, and like the first one, the thermostat is " off." I like the size, but I cannot walk away from it because I have to adjust temp. and time for all recipes. It also lacks an inside light. So, I would not recommend it.

yeah, we need a light. I turn mine down 25 degrees . If recipe states 400 I go to 375 because the temp isn't accurate. At the time I bought it my real oven was awaiting a part, so, I ran to walmart and bought this one. Just good back up, mainly.

I have the older version that I bought at Wal-Mart, so all my comments pertain to that older version. Watch the presentation on this new oven carefully to check to see if it has any of the negatives I list.
I found the temperature to be off in my unit and have to decrease everything by 25 degrees and sometimes more just on regular bake. There is a hot spot located in the back left of the oven. On bake or convection bake, everything in that corner always gets done faster. There are only two rack positions, and the top rack position is too far away from the top heating element to broil unless you turn a baking pan upside down on the top rack and then put your broiler pan on top of that. This same problem makes it useless as a toaster. Even though it will fit a pizza, we have not liked the texture of the pizza in it. The crust always seems a bit soft no matter what we do. It's doesn't have microwave- or oven-like controls...Time and temp buttons do not beep or ring...when a function button is pressed (i.e. toast, bake etc.) a number shows up automatically and you have to keep pressing the up/down arrows until you get the time or temp you actually want.
All that being said, I do use it often for biscuits, frozen breads, cornbread, some casseroles, etc. I've learned to work around its quirks, and I'm glad I have it. When it dies, though, I will be spending the extra money and getting a Breville.

Ladies - Thanks for your input!
@SharkE - I checked out the one at WM (online). I wanted one with the light and like the French doors. There are tons of great reviews, so I guess it's buy at your own risk!

I have the $99.00 WalMart version that I bought 5 years ago. I love mine and use it instead of the regular oven most of the time. A 9x13 pan fits the oven, so I do a lot of roasted vegetables and casseroles in the Oster. Last night I baked fish and sweet potato fries with the Oster. I have never had any issues with it. It's great at holidays when you need more oven space.
