Oreck-to repair or replace? That is the question

Wiring on my 8 yr. old Oreck is fried. Love my Oreack-easy to pus, change bag& gets pe hair.

I can get a new on for $200 + s & h

or get it reapaied. Minor repairs & cleanings have been about $70
