Kirkland organic EVOO, Costco brand. I frequently see this as a highly rated olive oil in articles.

I use Colavita for cooking and Monini for bread dipping.  We really liked the olive oil that was served with our bread at a restaurant and I asked what brand it was.  We have been using it ever since.

For adding to cold foods, such as a salad, or for adding to already cooked food that's been taken off the heat:

Goya brand, first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.

This was selected by a Consumer Reports taste test several years ago. I like it very much and have bought this since then.

Due to it's relative intolerance to high temps I rarely use an olive oil if it's going to be exposed to cooking heat. There are better choices.

A dizzying number of choices. I also buy the highly rated Kirkland brand from Costco or Riscossa.
