My daughter was out running errands, of course, she came home with something not on the list. She went to Perkins and brought home a strawberry pie,,,,,,,not 2 slices, a whole darn pie.
When I asked why a whole pie she said, well, tonight with our coffee after dinner, breakfast tomorrow morning, dessert tomorrow night. No , no and no.
!/2 the pie is going to my son and his girlfriend.
We do not need a whole pie. lol Kids, even the ones that are adults.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I hear you lol!
And freezing for me hasn't helped at all!
But oh my, strawberry pie!
My mother used to take us to a place called Reeves, which closed after years of being there.
It had strawberry rubarb pie which was one of the most incredible things I've ever tasted. I'll always remember it.

My husband and girls loved the strawberry pies from Shoneys! I only ate the crust and strawberry glaze with whipped cream, no berries.
I love the flavor from berries, but do not eat actual berries, and avoid other things with seeds and skins.

I love strawberry pie. I make them often when strawberries are in season using an old Weight Watchers recipe.
We can enjoy them guilt free. Yum.

I would be very happy to help your DD eat her strawberry pie. Sounds like a great breakfast and dessert. We could finish that pie off in no time. Won't you join us?

@CrazyKittyLvr2 Think of it as a healthy fruit rich with Vitamin C and fiber. Very healthy. You should eat lots of it. How many strawberry pies do you get every year? Take advantage while available .

I prefer cooked strawberry pie. Shoney's pie was more like fresh strawberries in a gel. I would rather have fresh strawberries with a little whipped cream or cool whip.
