I don't own any plasticware, L &L, cool whip bowls, etc.

I did my homework when looking for a dishwasher when we built our place. I knew I wanted a heat dry option! Not the european style, which dries by steam. Nope, had to have the heat dry option. Got it and am happy as a clam! Woman Happy

depglass. you are totally right. i have been doing that for years. after the dry cycle is over stuff mostly plastic is still wet so i dont even use dry cycle. i figure why waste electric. my dishwasher has a sanitze option that brings final rince up to 140 degrees and they dry even faster when i open door after it finishes. but i only use that option if i need stuff other wise i just pull racks out without using sanitize cycle.

I don’t use the dishwasher. I’m not confident that it really rinses off that toxic dish detergent. Yes, I’m now more careful than most since getting my autoimmune disease.

However I do use the dishwasher to store my dish rack. 😊
