OTO from Rastelli

[ Edited ]

There is no way I would pay $58.92 for that pork!  Pork has been really cheap  If you don't overcook your pork, it will be just as juicy as what he is showing.  Those things sell for around $1.35 lb. where I live.  Plus, the local ones haven't been injected with liquid, like those have been!

@Lila4Now  Really good pork is not that inexpensive where I live.  I had ordered the "rib-eye" ones and was shocked that they were so briny tasting.  I read the nutritional information too late.  Will eat them, but I don't like them because of the injected solution.

I actually got some Berkshire farm pork chops today and they were just as tender and juicy without being brined and the cost was about the same as the Rastelli ones.

I worked it out that, without tax, it comes to almost $16/pound.  All they are are glorified boneless pork chops.  It's not like pork is difficult to find in the grocery stores!

I live in the Midwest, good pork is easy to find.  It also is very cheap.  Hog farmers haven't been too happy lately.  What I saw on TV looked like formed pork patties.  I don't eat any meat that they inject liquid into.

I didn't like the Rastelli steaks I bought so won't try the pork.  Posters made good points here too.
