WV had a very long, cold, difficult winter, so I am absolutely loving the sunshine and warm temperatures. Our electric bill is down to $120 a month, which I also love.

house_cat, i always look so forward to your posts, but not so much this time. you of all people are probably one of the last people i would expect to read a post like that. you always write the most cheery & uplifted posts & you always sound so happy & content & busy with your receipes & cooking, i just never expected to read a post like that from you. i'm so sorry you're going through some rough times of your own. you're the one who is always giving everyone else words of encouragement & now it's our time to give them to you. please understand that whatevver it is, you have my support & prayers, & will be in my thoughts, & i hope it will resolve itself very shortly. but we're all here for you, and we all love you & have you in our thoughts. you just seem like the perfect & nicest woman. but unfortunately, rough times don't just happen to bad people. actually, bad times usually hit the nicer people faster then the evil people that are out there walking the streets. so you just hang in there, & be strong & this too shall pass. i feel sad that you're going through this. you just seem like just a sweet & good hearted person. i hate to see this happen to you. think positive, it always help. best wishes.

Thank you for such lovely sentiments, boyzs. Certainly I am not even close to being perfect, but I do try to be an asset to the QVC Community. I value this forum very much. The camaraderie and feedback I get here is truly priceless. I'm glad you have joined us, too.

Yes indeed, we did have a long winter and now, odds are, we're going to have a long summer that, if history is a predictor, won't really wrap up until well into what should be fall... The reality that we had lots of precipitation and it was cold well into what might have been spring somehow, for me, doesn't dim the gosh-awful daily heat, humidity and threat of storms... I do like more hours of daylight, for now, anyway, but wish fall lasted for six months out of the year!

I find it sort of humorous that all my friends who claim to love summer seem to be saying "I like summer, but I don't like this" (meaning the heat and humidity), well this IS summer... In my experience, many folks who "love summer" hop out of their air conditioned cars to run into their air conditioned homes!
