Oh faeriemoon-I am SO with you! Winter went on forever in NY too and I am soaking up every second of this summer-it has been lovely-good,even rains so that the produce is perfect, and cool evenings that make sleep wonderful-I couldn't ask for more from Mother Nature

I love summer and fall, but fall leads to winter (which I hate.) Generally, spring is cold until about May, so I'm not a huge fan of spring here in CT. However, spring holds promise.

Yes and fall holds "doom and gloom"
If I didn't have to drive to work each morning-it might be different.

Also, there is a great deal of tension and sadness around here right now and I think I'd be better off at work. I didn't want this to be a total bring-down thread, so I'm not going to elaborate, but things have been tough lately.
I'm sorry things are tough right now, and I understand that you don't want to elaborate on a BB. Years ago when I started posting on BBs, I shared everything! Now? Not so much.
Just so you know, I get a bang out of the threads that you post, and all of the questions that you ask that keep this place going. Were you an inquisitive little kid too?
You've been a day brightener to many, & I really hope things get better for you, housecat.

I like cooler temps but not shorter days. I dread it when summer is coming on. I hate the heat & hate humidity more. I would rather be cold then hot. I wish the temps would stay between 55 & 70 throughout the night & day. That's the perfect weather. Would not have to use the heater or the AC.

Our AC unit is broken and it is about 88 degrees with high humidity here so I am certainly over summer. Fortunately, the AC is still under warranty and the service people were here and they are going to replace it but we don't have an exact date yet as they have to wait for the new unit to be delivered to the service center. Then it will cost us $75 anyway because we can't tow the camper to the service center so we have to pay for the service to be done on site. It could be much worse though.

I LOVE cold weather and snow (although not as much as some people got last year)! I hate hot weather and humidity! So why am I still living in NC? Sometimes we can hardly tell winter from fall, and the summers are utterly miserable. I am seriously thinking about relocating!

I hate hot weather. I hate summer. I hate that we had no winter last year. I know that most of the country had a long, hard winter, but we never even had a cool day. I was struggling with 90 degrees in January and the hottest months are still to come. Yuck!
