Just watching Sharon and the perfect gourmet selling salmon florentine for $59.00 for 8 servings. Sharon said isn't it nice that I can buy this for my family and not break the bank. I must be living in another world, cause I could not justify that amount trying to feed 6 people. Much more economical is to go to Sam's club and get a large piece of salmon for $17.00 that will feed all of us, plus leftovers for 2 for lunch the next day. I must be living in another world cuz over 500 have already been sold. Maybe if I only had two people to feed--but in the past, food items I have purchased from the Q have not been that wonderful and oh so pricey.

I just cannot in good conscience buy any food items from QVC. We have worked too hard for what we have to squander it on such high priced food items.

There are apparently a lot of people with too much disposable income out there.
If I want an expensive meal, I'll go to a nice restaurant where there is someone serving, and cleaning up behind me.

i agree with you all. There is just two of us. I calculate the price per serving or pound and I can't justify spending that kind of dollars. Occasionally I will purchase the Germack. Q's price is good compared to the vendors web site.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and a wild caught salmon filet of good quality (enough to feed two people) is about $13.

My husband and I are retired and I suppose we are part of the vanishing middle class. We certainly could not afford that price.

Yep.......QVC's food prices are truly amazing, and I'm even more amazed that large numbers of people apparently watch these presentations and actually BUY the products! I buy fresh salmon at my grocery store quite often, and I can cook up and serve a WHOLE LOT of salmon and spinach for $59 -- several meals' worth, I am sure. If I want to spend that kind of money for just one family meal, I'll be paying for a nice restaurant experience with wine, white tablecloths, candles, and excellent service, thank you very much. What really kills me is when they sell products (Nathan's hot dogs, for example) that can be purchased in my local grocery store for a fraction of the price. I just don't get it.

Those people will say anything for a sale!
It just shows how overpaid they are, and out of touch with the real world!!
