I'm still waiting for my QVC TSV to arrive as it's on waitlist. I've been doing some reading on smoothies and I'm interested in the green ones. I know this doesn't perform as well as the Vitamix but will it make a reasonably smooth, creamy green smoothie? I read that you should pulverize the greens first in liquid before you do the rest. The Ninja site also claims it can grind flax seeds in the smaller containers.
Also, would anyone know if it also breaks down the cell walls of veggies like the Vitamix. It should, as even chewing breaks them down and this grinds them up much more efficiently than your teeth can.
