Re: Ninja Foodie multicooker, HSN TS

I have one of the earlier versions, the 4-in-1,  I don't use all the features but I do all of my slow cooking and some stovetop recipes in it - pulled pork, shredded beef, crack chicken, chili, soups, crockpot mac and cheese.  I think the Ninja brand is solid and reliable.  I own several of their small appliances.  I really don't need a replacement but the upgrade is tempting.

I believe this is the same model available on Amazon.  There are over 1000 reviews you can read!

Kohls has it on sale for $149.99.  If you have a 30% off coupon, it'll cost $105 with free shipping.  I was ready to purchase last night, but checking my Kohl's orders, I realized I had bought it and then returned it.  Wanted it, but didn't need it.  Trying to control buying more small appliances.

@Starpolisher  I'm tempted by this, especially since it includes a sous vide option, but it is a bit larger than I'm ever likely to need.

I feel myself starting to cave & I think I'm going to order one. A sous vide alone would end up costing me this much.

I saw some of the presentation but didn't see a sous vide presentation, although they kept saying it would sous vide.  Do you know how the water circulates in the cooker for sous vide?

I think that maroon color is beautiful. Unfortunately I can't think of where I'd store it. Times like this I wish I had a walk-in pantry.

I don't think they demo'd sous vide at midnight.  If they did I missed it.  I thought sous vide required the warm water to be circulated and I was curious to see that.  If not, I think I could sous vide as well as many of the other functions in my Wolfgang Puck multi-cooker.

I guess that's the thing.  How much would you REALLY use all those different functions?  I never steam stuff.  I already have a Ninja 5 in 1 which grills, bakes, roasts, and air fries. I'm not even sure what Braising is, so apparently I don't do that.

They don't show that huge list of all the things you can do with it that they show right before the presentation, so I don't know what I'm missing I guess.

@Icegoddess @Starpolisher  I did order (charcoal) but I also called HSN CS to let them know all of the functions need to be demonstrated, that mentioning them isn't enough. The rep I spoke with emailed the higher ups while I was still on the phone to make the request. I've called on about similar things before and they are good about it so fingers crossed this time.
