I received my cobalt blue Ninja cooker and used it today. I made a 5 lb. chicken on the oven bake setting. I browned the chicken and then removed to the rack. I added chicken stock, rosemary, thyme, and garlic and returned the chicken and the rack back to the Ninja to cook. I cooked for 1 hour at 375 degrees. The chicken was moist. I removed the herbs and smashed the garlic and left in the broth. I added cornstarch and cold chicken stock together and added to the broth. It didn't thicken as much as I wanted but it was delicious. I made baby potatoes in the round RangeMate and they were delicious. I steamed the potatoes for 20 minutes. The cooker cleaned up easily and there was no smell with first time use as most new appliances have. It was easy to set the timer and oven setting and it has a couple of short beeps when the food was done. We were pleased with our first meal. We will leave it on the counter as it will be used often and is attractive as well. The only negative would be to be sure to use more than needed liquid when using the steam bake setting. Half of the liquid was gone when the chicken was done. Please post what you have made and any suggestions you would like to share. I am anxious to try more but there is just the two of us home and we don't eat big meals very often. The chicken will be good for sandwiches.

I received mine yesterday and made the Lemon Rosemary Chicken that was in the recipe book. I have to say the chicken was more moist than I had expected and DH and I really enjoyed it. I'm not much of a cook but I have high hopes in this machine.

I saved the onion/lemon/chicken stock broth to make a chicken soup with. The chicken that was left we had for lunch today and it actually tasted better than last night!

Question though, the steam was really coming out of that hole, do you think it will really work as a slow cooker?

I think the slow cooker will be fine if we add more liquid than we need. I am retired so I will be home to keep an eye on mine as it cooks. That was a concern with the first version before this one. Someone suggested to plug the steam vent but my husband said it could affect the temperature when cooking. I hope Bob Warden reads the reviews and would address this on his next demonstration.

I love the Ninja if for no other reason- the chicken.... there is also a fish recipe that uses on that is fantastic. DH can't eat read meat, but DD and her boyfriend are coming to our weekend place this weekend. I bought a small rib roast back in the Spring and I am making it the Friday: I can't wait.....Bob seems to make it every time he presents the Ninja, and it makes me swoon...and over on Recipe Swap, I believe it was Nightowlz who posted a recipe for buttery dinner rolls. Dinner is going to be delish!! Poodlepet
