Ninja 3-in-1 cooker. Where do you store it?

I was at Bed Bath and Beyond the other day and was looking at the Ninja 3-in-1 cooker. It was cheaper than QVC. It was $129.00 and then if I used my 20% off coupon it would be $103.20 before the tax. You don't get the cookbook and all the other accessories but they had the cookbook for about $19.00. However, it looks big so I don't know where I would store it. I can't leave it on the counter as there is not enough room to leave it out on the counter. I would love to try it but I was just wondering where everyone stores it. Thanks.

I do store it on my counter right next to my stovetop because I actually use it on my glass cooktop under the hooded vent. I use it a lot so I like it out. Could you put it in your garage? You should join the Ninja 3-in-1 Recipe Facebook group. They have TONS of recipes there. I wish that group existed when I first got my ninja. They have thousands of members and they all have great ideas on things to make and tons of tips on how to use it. I love my Ninja! I got mine at BB&B with the 20% off coupon and I got the cookbook with the $5 coupon. It had just come out when I got it so I'm glad I got that cookbook but I don't think you need it now. I would join that group now and you will get a great idea on all that it does and if you need it.

Re: Ninja 3-in-1 cooker. Where do you store it?

Ever buy something and then regret it? I'm still kicking myself - put mine down in the basement and will probably give it away. Your point of storing it is excellent, however, this machine ruined a rather expensive corned beef. Yes, it's a crock pot BUT it either got too hot and boiled all the liquid away - or at the lower temperature - it didn't do anything. Meat just laid there = not healthy.

AND there's a steam hole in the cover that really allows the liquid to escape faster. I read on here to 'plug the hole', so apparently other women have had the same problem.

Great sales pitch but.....it too expensive, too big and I have a wonderful stove with cook top and oven. Hate this huge thing.

It's true it does cook very hot but very fast. You have to make adjustments. Once you do learn how to use it it is great! I urge you to join that group too. They have corned beef recipes. You already have it. Maybe try it again. Smiley Happy. I too have an amazing stove and double oven. I prefer this. I hate to use my whole oven to cook something in a 1 -2 qt casserole. I especially love the buffet setting.

I store mine ia cabinet with the rotisserie, Pizzazz and toaster.

I love it.

(Sometimes I plug the hole, sometimes I don't.)

Re: Ninja 3-in-1 cooker. Where do you store it?

I use mine at least 3 maybe 4 times/week. Therefore it has gained a place on the counter, very close to the kitchen table. (moved out the rotisserie/convection oven).

I must admit...I've never used the slow cooker setting yet. I mostly use the steam roast/steam bake settings and occasionally the stovetop setting to brown.

Try steam baking breads in it, you'll be amazed at the oven spring it achieves. So much easier and safer than spraying, or adding ice cubes to your oven. I actually destroyed a gas oven with constant water use in the oven last year.

I wouldn't part with mine, if I had to leave it on the table!

Enjoy!

Re: Ninja 3-in-1 cooker. Where do you store it?

I am always hesitant to buy something like this, because I don't like a lot of things on my counter and don't have a lot of storage space. I am not sure I would use it often anyway.

I guess you could leave it on the countertop if it didn't bother you there.

I have no problem using my oven for small amounts of baking, roasting, etc. It is way better than storing more stuff in my already crowded kitchen.

Re: Ninja 3-in-1 cooker. Where do you store it?

I guess you'd have to clear out at least half a cabinet for that big thing.

I don't understand the appeal, either. I have a full-size oven, a countertop convection oven, and a microwave oven. For 'slow cooking' I use my Le Creuset pots, as I don't do dump cooking. I couldn't see adding something like this, as I already have appliances to do all those things.

I suppose some folks don't have ovens or any of that and it could be useful. You'd just need someplace to store all that stuff.

Furthermore, I read that they are telling people to cook poultry from frozen again? What the heck? Don't do that. That's just gross.
