I thought $30 was a ridiculous price for that when I saw it.

I don't have any use for it myself.

I put those little slider pads on the feet of all my small appliances that are heavier or hard too move. I put them on my KitchenAid mixer, Vitamix, bread machine, coffee maker, Foodsaver etc. Makes them easy to slide across the counter where I need it.

If you need the drawer, I can see how it would be a good item to have.  It would seem being a tall person would also be necessary, or having a step stool handy.  I can barely see into the insides of my large appliances as it is without adding a couple more inches.

I carry my Kitchen Aid mixer to the counter from its storage place when I need it.  I consider it excercise, LOL.  I use it less often than the air fryer, food processer, toaster, and two coffee machines.  There's no room for more.

That sucker is heavy. I would never use my mixer if I had to get it from storage area & put it on the counter. 

It sure would be nice to have one of those cabinets with the pop up shelf to keep the mixer on.
