If you desire the insertable (comes already in there) pour spout then keep it in there.

I wanted mine wide open, so, threw the pour spout in the trash. LOL

I'm not big on waiting.  I run to the Household section first when I hit Walmart to see what's new. Tripped across this and said "price is right"

LOL

@SharkE  Thanks!  I need several of those so will be making another trip to Walmart.  Wish I had seen this before I went this morning.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

46 Cups?

Depending on what you fill it with, that will be a monster to lift and pour!

Re: New storage container at WalMart

I bought that a couple of years ago. I use it for dry cat food.  It's nice because I can pull it out of the cabinet easily.  I keep a scoop inside of it - the cat food is too heavy to pick up and pour.  We don't really have pantry critters here, because it's so dry, but if you do you must be careful to close it securely. It doesn't click shut like a Lock-and-Lock does.

hubbo is bad about that. He acts like he's weak as a kitten.

I"ll bellow "close the lid tight". Just takes a little effort.

He mostly does that with Tupperware containers
