Tried 2 new things at Trader Joe's this week. First ,Brownie Crisp.  Delicious.  I am always on the hunt for tasty gluten-free treats ( gluten-free not by choice). This is also vegan. This is something I would buy again.

Second, popcorn in a pickle.  I love pickles, but found this extremely salty.  I know...what did I expect.  I could eat ablittle, but not something I would buy again.

Anyone else try something new?

Re: New at Trader Joe's

I was very happy to find lemon-infused olive oil from Greece recently at TJ's. I love this oil for sauteing and have had a difficult time finding it. TJs' oil is reasonably priced, too, which is better than the Meyer lemon-infused OO I've bought at Oil and Vinegar in the mall (very good quality but expensive). TJ's usually has the lemon OO at the holidays in a three pack with basil- and hot pepper-infused oils, but I'd rather just buy the single bottle of lemon. Now I can! Heart

I just went shopping this morning at Trader Joe's.  Best time to shop....early, early on Sunday morning!!  I like to try one new thing every time I go, but my recent GREAT find (a few months ago) was their Chicken Marsala found in the refrigerated section.  Delicious.  Pair it with their brown rice (3 pack in the frozen food section).  Good stuff.  I saw the Pickle popcorn this morning, but didn't grab a bag even though it sounded interesting.

I don't live near TJ and only get to go a handful of times each year.  I always read the new items list before I go and put a couple new things on my list.  Some are good, some not so good.  My last successful new product was crackers with dried fruit in them.  I can't think of what they are called, but they were $3.99 a box and in the frozen aisle.

My sister highly recommended the 5 cheese Greek spiral.  She served it for breakfast with scrambled eggs.

I love TJs and in fact, that's where I do most of my grocery shopping.  However, for me, the popcorn-in-a-pickle was an absolute failure.  I love popcorn and I love pickles, but did not enjoy this snack at all.  I might have gotten used to the taste after a bit did not enjoy the after taste/repeating the rest of the day.  The rest of the bag went into the trash can.  Sorry, TJ's, this one just didn't work for me.

But if you take some of the lemon oil and some of the hot pepper oil and make popcorn in it, you have delcious popcorn. I actually have some Mexican Lime OO from the Olive Mill in Queen Creek, AZ, but I think the lemon would work just as well.

Debcakes, that's a great idea! I wouldn't have thought of that.

I've been in the Olive Mill store in Scottsdale. Love that place! I actually bought the lemon-infused oil from Oil and Vinegar in a Phoenix mall while visiting my son who lives in the area. Smiley Happy

I am glad to know that - I was tempted by the pickle popcorn but bypassed it.

I used to love the shrimp corn dogs that they discontinued and recently tried the shrimp nuggets they have in the freezer compartment.  They are very good.

I agree, Sunday mornings is the best time to go.

This isn't a new productbut the pork belly is divine.  For frozen, the Vegetables in Balsamic Sauce is delicious.

And of course, the Cookie Butter!

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.
