New Cooking Show w/ Mary Beth & Rick

"What's Cooking With Mary Beth & Rick" will be on this Sunday during the all-day Cooking on the Q.

I love the two of them together since I saw them paired together in a jewelry show a long while ago. Rick's crazy, high-energy humor is tempered with Mary Beth's delightful sweetness and together they met somewhere in the middle. Not sure if they'll be presenting together or tag-teaming, but I look forward to it.

Thanks for the heads-up. Maybe they'll present some Minnesota favorites, like Lutefisk and Lefse.

I like Mary Beth as a cooking show host. She hosted a lot of them 15-20 years ago and even put out a few cookbooks. I still have her first cookbook, but when I tried to get the second one it was no longer available and they never brought it back. I don't dislike Rick, but he seems to be QVC's Mr. Everything and sometimes shows way more enthusiasm than necessary.

I've been around a while. I do remember enjoying Mary Beth on a cooking show from time to time. I do have both her cookbooks, and they are excellent. Try eBay and Amazon. You might find the books there. My books are packed up for a painting job inside right now, so I can't give you the name of the book (or books).

Looking forward to some new blood (not literally) in the cooking department this weekend. Hope it's going to be good.
