Never keep spices by the stove!

Ugh, I adore David, but I don't always agree with advice given on the show.

He mentioned leaving that spice rack by your stove, and that is the LAST place spices should be kept. The heat from the stove will destroy the goodness quickly! don't keep them on top of the fridge either, as that can be a "warm" place as well.

I buy my dried herbs and spices from Penzy's in bulk bags, and keep what I need in glass bottles in a cabinet. The rest of the bag goes into the freezer or fridge until I need more.
