Hello to the Board,

I'm looking for a machine washable, good sized canvas bag for toting groceries. My old Aldi bags are in the dust bin as of today. I like the huge size of the old Aldi bag (tan with a tree symbol on it).

I need several, probably 4- 6.  Any recommendations?

Amazon has thousands but I'm looking to the board for a recommendation.

These are what I use. I purchased a set about three years ago and have been pleased with their durability and size.

Natural Grocers has good ones; LL Bean and Land's End Canvas totes are great; Salty Dog on Hilton Head sells great lighter weight ones at good prices and they are great!

just purchased these when they were a special on THE VIEW from viewyourdeal.com

they fit into your shopping cart and are perfect for me.

i can scan items when i put them in and then just hand the scanner to a checkout person OR put the scanner in the self checkout stand.

Thanks for starting this topic. I bought some great ones a few years ago called Bagnetic.  They come w/a carabiner for carrying multiple bags. But they don't have flat bottoms and the clerks in the stores make me crazy as they fill them wily-nilly.  So I'm looking for some square bottom bags.

Qvc has Kikkerland shopping bags on clearance for about $18 free S&H but they are on waitlist. I ordered & cancelled because Amazon has them for $18. I already have one set so bought another set. I'm sure stores will be moving away from those plastic bags. I really like them. They are made out of poly so they are washable.

They are just about the right size since I can fill them up with groceries & still able to carry the weight. If I had bought larger bags I doubt I could carry them full.

I don't stuff them back in the pouch. I throw all of them in one bag & leave in my trunk organizer.

Is the stick part removable for washing?

they have sizes for both wholesale club carts and standard grocery store carts.
