Can't you put your shoes on and take 15 minutes to go to the store and buy one???  Or borrow from a neighbor???

You would think that, wouldn't you.  I tried my local WalMart, 3 Dollar Generals, and 1 grocery store.  I don't have much to choose from here in rural Georgia, so I'm going to have to order one. I did use a fork and liked the mix of lumps and smooth, but that was in part due to pressure cooking them.  I plan to do some more, so I'll try my hand mixer which is what my sister's MIL uses.  I still haven't fully decided on buying one or not.  The pressure cooker really does them well, so they are very soft even with the skins on, which I prefer.
