Oh, Enjoy it... I have one that I put in when we did kitchen in house we bought in 2016.  As you said they have been reengineered.  We have had igniter issues but we now just keep a set in the house for when they go bad and dh changes them out.  (In fact they were bad when first installed and Viking sent a couple of sets withought question.)  There is just something about cooking on it that feels right... You will love it.
