[always wrong never right]

of "peasantware" Polish stoneware. "Peasantware" is what families brought over from Poland before all the rage. You mostly find it now by chance at Marshalls, Tuesday Morning, or TJ Maxx. I think this was a piece left from my grandmother, but it had a good life. It literally flew off of the shelf under the quite tall bay window and landed on the side of that collapsible wooden cart thing from seven years ago as a TSV. It was an oval baker that I used for macaroni and cheese and such. It was truly a favorite, but it had a good life.
