It's a Chicago Metallic Tea Cake pan. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, but it looked interesting.

These are raspberry brownie bites. I put brownie batter in each of the wells, and after they were baked I filled the indentations with raspberry jam. (Or couse, you could use any flavor you like.) I did learn that with the brownie batter, you have to grease the pans really, really well, otherwise the edges might stick.

I call these Orange Gems. I made orange cake, filled the indentations with orange marmalade, piped orange flavored frosting on top, and sprinkled it all with orange colored sugar. They were quick and easy, but looked like they involved a lot of work.

The more I use this pan, the more ideas I get. I'm thinking of making cornbreads in it, and filling them with tuna salad or chicken salad and piping whipped cream cheese on top.

You could use a little melon baller to put a tiny scoop of ice cream on each little cake, or fill the cakes with piped whipped cream and drizzle them with chocolate or caramel syrup.

The next time I make the brownie bites, I'm going to use cherry pie filling and pipe whipped cream on top. Or maybe fill the little wells with caramel....
