@depglass   My significant other likes to do that too.  I just let him do his thing and then after he toddles off to dreamland in early evening (I'm a night owl) I switch it to the Lock and Lock, or my glass storage containers.  I like to keep the fridge organized which is why I like the rectangular shapes the best,

 

But he is a love and so good in so many ways that I can't stay irked for very long.
