Re: My New Year's Day Greens are Cooking!

I LOVE greens any kind! But I have kale so that's what they'll be. Maybe I'll do a pork tenderloin and have greens with apple sauce. And Prosecco!

Re: My New Year's Day Greens are Cooking!

We're having Christmas on New Years Day due to the fact that some got covid.

So it's Christmas food for us.

The main dish varies from year to year, but I always have herring in sour cream both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

This year's main dish with be pork and sauerkraut with mashed potatoes.

Re: My New Year's Day Greens are Cooking!

@Sooner    Ohhhh I had collards and kale mixed for Christmas with my ham.  Of course, seasoned with a pork butt.  Never had them until I moved to the Eastern Shore of Md as my family is Polish/Russian/Ukrainian/Lithuanian so we ate traditional old world foods.

I love greens 🥬!  Got my black eyed peas ready to be cooked for New Years too.
