He's going to love it.  It looks like a large version the dessert pizzas that my bff made for my girls when they were teens and tweens.  Everytime, they had a sleepover at her house, she made  those pizzas for them.  The "crust" was a big sugar cookie and then there was sweet whipped topping and fruit.

My daughter always hated cake. I remember putting icing on her face for her 1st birthday picture because she wouldn't touch it...LOL

I use to make a fruit pizza using crescents formed into a rectangle,

but the sugar cookie crust sounds so good.
