I've never minded the changes people made in fact they are sometimes appreciated especially if it is an exchange helpful to me and the recipe still turned out and also with any recommendations such as lowering a temperature or extending a time.

I completely agree with the useless "This looks delicious" comments.

i always think they are review a picture and not the dish. it's a waste of space, just gives the picture taker a pat on the back.

You took the words right out of my mouth. This happens on all recipe sites, not just Allrecipes. Sometimes I have to scroll through several reviews before I find someone who followed the original recipe exactly. Very frustrating.
