@matty liz I wouldn't choose them as a gift. Even if I go to the best supermarket in my area and buy produce, I could still have what looked like a perfectly good apple the day I choose it turn out to be pretty on the outside and not so great inside.
seems to me that would be the same with a batch of Mrs. Prindables. They could look fine the day you gift them and go bad before anyone uses all of them.

I've ordered them years ago and they were really good....but the package sizes are too big for me now ( living alone)...Wish they would sell a six pack!!!
The Landies Candies pretzels I got years ago were WORSE than terrible....stale, cheap chocolate, horrible tasting.
Crab cakes years ago...we all know about that fiasco.
Ordering food of any kind from any place is a risk...I'm willing to try ( SOMETIMES)...at least QVC will refund your money if you complain.
Recent strike out I had:
Rastelli's Reserve Rib Eyes ( tasted and looked like packaged LIVER "reserved" from the Y2K era.) I think this is the ONLY product I ever asked for my money back in 25 years.....
But..... here are some things I LOVED:
Thier Faroe Island Salmon was and is delicious!
And Claxton Fruit Cake..LOVE IT!!! Now I order directly from thier webside...MUCH better prices, and nice and fresh. I ordered from them last Saturday, and they were HERE in PA yesterday!!!! ( Are you listening QVC?) They came from Georgia!!!

It sounds like Laurie Shore needs to up her game, unfortunately.
I've never had Prindables but I might eat a plain caramel apple. The ones plastered with candy don't appeal to me at all.

Not a fan. I've had them a few times over the yeras and felt the apples had zero taste and the caramel and chocolate was very cheap......yuck. Like someone said you are much better off with a nice box of chocolates!

I ordered them last year and was not impressed. They are made by same company that makes Affy Taples that you see in the store.

Thanks to all of you. I knew I would get the right answer. I won't order. Pretzels sound good. You guys saved Christmas for me, thanks

My daughter and I have ordered Mrs Prindables apples for years; we order the larger apples, with nuts, and usually finish them in February.
We have never had a totally bad apple. It is not unusual to find a brown spot near the core, which we've always thought came from the stick. That spot is easily cut away when the apple is quartered for serving.

@matty liz - We order Mrs. Prindable's apples every year and absolutely love them. Over the course of about a dozen batches, we've only had one or two apples that were even remotely bad—and as has been noted here, there's no way to buy that many apples and have every one be perfect on the inside. (Nature simply isn't perfect.)
Earlier this fall, we ordered the toffee chip apples, and every one was fabulous. And last week, I received our annual double order of the triple chip apples—the best flavor option available, in my opinion—and the family is already very excited to dig in this Friday at our annual "Elf" viewing party. Even though I offer a variety of snacks that are both storebought and homemade, I would have some disappointed partygoers if those apples didn't make an appearance.
