My understanding is that it's not good to freeze apples.

If anyone was going to get sick from Mrs. P's apples, it would be the show hosts, don't ya think?

Have any of them gotten sick?

Uh, no, they haven't.

Besides, if you just stop and think and just use just a little common sense, ask yourself if QVC would want to be involved in a big 'ol fat lawsuit, if they even suspected that their apples were bad.

They wouldn't want that would they?

No, they wouldn't.

So, if they even suspected that their apples were bad, don't you think that they would send out a big 'ol flashing neon warning to its customers, in order to prevent from being involved in that big 'ol nasty lawsuit?

Why, yes! Yes they would.

And since they haven't, logic dictates that their apple products are safe.

Case closed, your honor!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! Yum!

The case most certainly is not closed. The only thing that's closed is your mind. That's crystal clear in every one of your posts.

And how interesting that you feel more qualified to come to conclusions than the CDC. What kind of credentials do you have? What exactly is your experience with disease control? You are continuing to ignore what lots of us are posting, which just makes you look uninformed. (How many times do we have to say that symptoms may not appear for 70 days? And we don't know that hosts haven't had symptoms. QVC is certainly not going to tell us about that!)

I couldn't care less if QVC thinks these apples are safe. I care what the CDC says. No one knows for sure if they're safe. That is a fact.

If you actually read the information that's out there and the intelligent posts here, you would see how many actual facts you're completely missing. Repeating the same things over & over in a childish way doesn't make them true. Speaking condescendingly to people who are more informed about this than you are just makes you look foolish. So just keep believing whatever you want. It's clear that's what you're going to do.

OMG, that's the most awesome thing I've read on here (and the most true, too)!!! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Thanks!

It pretty much wrote itself. I mean, it's just so obvious!

I had meant to comment about her repeated misspelling. It's not "Prendable". Anyone who had read the tiniest bit about this issue would realize that's not the way it's spelled. And someone who is clearly spouting off without educating herself while paying absolutely no attention to detail is clearly not the kind of person we want deciding what's safe for people to eat!

Can I get an AMEN?!?! {#emotions_dlg.laugh} I noticed the misspelling as well and posted that if someone is going to passionately defend a product they should at least know the proper spelling of said product! {#emotions_dlg.blink} But then again what do I know? Clearly I'm in a panic & hysterical, lol!

Have a good evening & a Merry Christmas, Susan!

Re: Mrs. Prendable Apples are NOT on the List!!!!!

Just to clarify for anyone who isn't clear on this (like the OP), as of this morning there is no "list" of affected companies. There are several companies named that are suspected but no list of good or bad products. In other words, no company has been declared to have a safe product. And that is why, at this time, the CDC is still saying to avoid all commercially produced caramel coated apples. BTW, "commercially produced" just means "made to be sold". It doesn't mean that Mrs. P.'s are OK because they claim they make them in small batches to order. Just FYI.

Re: Mrs. Prendable Apples are NOT on the List!!!!!

I was looking forward to giving the apples but we have decided as parents it is not worth the risk. My shipment was the 15th and out they go. The notice from the CDC made my decision. The investigation continues. I hope this company is cleared, and I hope those that are enjoying the apples stay well.

Re: Mrs. Prendable Apples are NOT on the List!!!!!

The list is not all inclusive and the CDC advises that we avoid all candied, sprinkled or chocolare covered apples.
