We make cranberry ice (like a sorbet) from fresh cranberries. It takes 4-5 days to make because something has to happen every day. It's wonderful.  

Mom got the recipe from her mom and made it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. One of my sons took over when Mom couldn't do it anymore. 

I don't like sweet potatoes. I tolerate green bean casserole.

Definitely hate even looking at that awful green bean casserol, stuffing, and sweet potatoes with marshmellows!!  Just want sweet potatoes with butter and a little sour cream.

Green bean casserole. It's been a staple for decades. 

I wish for a vegetable without sauce or perhaps a green salad.

My Thanksgiving plate looks like it needs a bit of color. Although delicious, it's a plate of brown and orange. 

Growing up, we always had beets. No one, except me, likes 'em in my family.

I love smashed brussels and my homemade (from fresh) cranberries. The only other thing I really like is the turkey.

DH loves candied Sweet Taters loaded with brown sugar, lots of stuffing, and green bean casserole . . .

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't care for turkey.  Can't stand cranberries.  My favorites are mashed potatoes and gravy, baked yams with only butter, salt and pepper.  And lots and lots of stuffing, which I get the stink eye because I put ketchup on it.

And i like my green jello salad that has cream cheese, pineapple and whipped cream in it.

Green bean casserole. I hate everything about it, from the stringy green beans to the dreadful canned "onions." Substituting frozen peas and canned chow mein noodles works for the remaining few in our family who somehow expect that dish lol.
