I'm planning to make some lemon ricotta cookies, and the recipe calls for 8 oz. (1 cup) of ricotta cheese; I was going to double the recipe, so a 16 oz. container would be just right. Then I noticed....the 16 oz. container is now 15 oz.
So I guess we're supposed to buy far more than we need of products to make up for the shortage when a certain amount is needed for recipes?
