Mixing bowl

Today, I decided to make a cake. I wanted to use the hand mixer, instead of the big stand mixer. As I was mixing the batter, I realized that it was a struggle. The bowl that I was using had a narrow bottem, the blades of the beater were hitting the sides-'tink,tink,tink'. I thought of the latest KitchenAid show. Laura Weathers was extolling the virtues of K34993. I looked it up. I studied on it and as nice as the 3 piece set appeared. I realized, that I didn't need or want 3 mixing bowls. Off to Amazon! I found an Oxo batter bowl-8 cups-$13,(free shipping with $25 total). I got it. Sorry, Laura, but space is a premium in this kitchen!
