You've just bought a can of mixed nuts which contains peanuts, pecans, pistachios, almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, and walnuts.

Do you just grab a handful from the top, or do you pick them out in some specific order?

I start with a mixed handful and then take a few almonds.

Pecans first with Brazil nuts next. After those it would be cashews & pistachios.

Off to eat 3 Brazil nuts to get my selenium.

@PickyPicky3 smileyloll: I buy the mixed salted nuts from Costco, and I try not to go for all the Macadamia nuts and pecans, but sometimes.....

I choose the almonds first.

I grab a bag bag of chocolate chips, melt slowly in the micro, mix in nuts and spread on waxed paper to cool.  When eaten in this manner, they're all so good, you don't care which variety goes first.

I would definitely pick them out in order!  

1. Brazil nuts
2. Cashews
3. Pistachios
4. Hazelnuts
5. Peanuts
6. Walnuts
7. Pecans

What does it mean if I do this?  Am I a WINGNUT???  LOL!!!!! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

1st walnuts, 2nd cashews, 3rd pecans, 4th peanuts & what's left is tossed.

I hoard the Brazil nuts, there are usually not many of them.
