I just bought one in purple. I have the Wolfgang Puck mini rice cooker already, so I didn't really "need" this. I just wanted it, though. Smiley Happy

Re: Mini cooker

It's a cute little bugger. :-)  It looks like they're offering a few extra recipes than the last time it was on special.  A few of the reviewers suggested more recipes; now there's a dozen that come with it.

I'm tempted, but I'm also considering the air fryer coming up in March on QVC.  Do I need both?  No, but I want both, LOL.

I saw that!  I usually order things like that, but I'm TRYING (key word) to turn over a new leaf and not order everything I see.

Don't tempt me!  I eat out at least 4 times a week and I know I'd never use it.

Right now my youngest daughter just got a new place with tons of room.  I've been collecting things for her for years, (i.e. top of the line kitchen aid mixer, etc).

If I bought it, I'd send it to her.  You guys are making it hard for me to stick to my new resolution!  Ha!  You guys are enablers (I'm smiling).

But it's so cute! :-)  You could try it a few times with the intent to send it to your daughter eventually, LOL.  I have a million appliances that could do the same things, but when I see a new, cute one on special, I can't resist.

I bought the blue one as it would be just right for me as my husband doesn't like what I like. I also am on a diet amd it will be good for portion control also. Itnis nice with the free steamer insert included also.

I purchased it as I ruined my WP rice cooker (my fault) and I miss it.  This looks like it has a bit larger capacity as she is making grilled cheese sandwiches in it and breakfast sandwiches which would be perfect for me.

I also have the air fryer from Evine.  I love it too as I cook for one so both of these appliances are perfect for me.  I use both several times a week (so in other words I have really miss my rice cooker).

I have owned both for a while and love them both dearly. As for cooking time, you don’t set it for a time, it just turns off when it thinks it is done. It is usually right and the times when the food still needed more cooking was usually because I stuffed too much into the pot in the first place. Lorena’s has the nice feature of a cook & look glass top so you can see how it is doing while it is cooking. I don’t think I could say which I like better and I use them both often. If you are torn, err on the side of making the purchase – I am confident you will love this adorable little cooker.

I just watched the demo again...and this time Lorena said when it shuts off you will have to turn it over or may have to cook longer....a caller asked how long stuff takes to cook and she skirted around the answer with it depends on what it is...i didn't like that...how about saying if its eggs...or if it rice...give us a about time...

Also....how can you put an item in the pot...set it and walk away....what happens if that item needs to cook longer...and it sits there till you come back to it...she made it sound like you could go off to work or shop...well that could be a long time to sit only half cooked...

I am not getting goof vibes with her...the hosts....and this item...anyone able to ease my miind....other then you like yours....thank you...
