I need a new microwave. If you have a small one which one did you get and do you like it. I am using one I paid $5 for years ago but put it in the garage and when the small one gave I brought it in but it is too big to fit in my kitchen so it sits on my table. Gotta clean up and put one back under the cupboards.

I bought a Hamilton Beach .09 at WM today for $49. They also had a smaller .07 one. Those were the smallest and least expensive.

The "dorm size" microwaves are all basically the same, no matter the brand.    I am looking for a new one......only because my present one is 18 years old, and the white finish has yellowed.    I'm thinking of RED!   Walmart has them.............

Microwave is an appliance where the brand name no longer makes any difference. Pick something that fits the space, you like the looks, and the price is right.

I have a Breville and love it. It has some presets and the regular dials. What a difference from my $40 versions.

Thank you for your answers. Will look for Walmart is within my walk from home and so is Target which advertised Black and Decker for $60. Just have to measure right for it is at the end of the block WM is. Hope it can fit in my shopping cart for that is the only way I get around near my home.  Thanks again.

I don't have a small one, but Sharp has been my brand of choice for microwaves since the beginning.

Hope you find the perfect one!

I recently purchased the Magic Chef 0.9-Cubic Foot Digital Microwave Model MCM990W from Walmart for $70.  It's a very "normal" size, and I love the quick cook buttons.  Pressing start alone gives you 30 seconds, press 1 for 60, and so on through 6.  To be honest that's the only way I ever use it.  It's got other presets, but I get what I need from the quick buttons.

ETA:  @halfpint1 you could order online and they'll ship it right to you for free.  Saves you from having to haul it back on your own....

Are under-the-counter microwave ovens easy to install, if you're replacing one that's already there, or would I need to hire someone?  Just wondering because I may soon have to replace mine.
