Microwave egg cooker from HSN

I love a good little microwave gadget--have had pretty good luck with them too. I ordered this item and used it this a.m. I cooked a little veggie omlette in it. The insert is for poaching  eggs.  It comes out and you can cook the omelette. It worked great!!! Next time I will cut the time down a bit from 2 minutes to maybe 15 less seconds, was a tiny bit dry. You get 2 for under $15 w/free shipping. kitchen-hq-2-pack-microwave-egg-cooker-and-omelet-sets-d-20240820084852103~869669_alt1.jpg

I use this egg cooker all the time, usually I do eggs sunny side up following instructions included with purchase. It can be alittle tricky because not all microwaves heat the same. You may need to try until you find the best setting for you. I think it works well and for 1 person it is fine.

@wagirl Ours gets used at least once a week.  I always wanted Henryetta but never not one.  We have a white one.  There are 6 boiled eggs in the fridge as I write.

Re: Microwave egg cooker from HSN

OK--so here is an update------this a.m. I used just the little 2 egg insert for poached eggs and altho not a complete success--I am not mad at the outcome. Cracked a large  egg for each cup, microwaved it for 1 minute of the 1 1/2 minute as per instructions. They came out near hard boiled and I need to use a bit of cooking spray in the insert but all and all, it works!! Just made them into an egg salad. Tomorrow I will spray the insert first, and cut back to 45 seconds for the cooking. Stay tuned--------😁

@wagirl  After reading your post on this egg cooker, I ordered it right away.

I received it yesterday, washed it, & tried it out today.

I sprayed the 2 cups with cooking spray oil, cracked an egg into each cup, closed the cover, & cooked them for 64 seconds. Perfection!

Thanks so much for posting about this egg cooker. Cooking & cleanup were a cinch  : )

@Desert Lily --oh funny!! glad to read about your success. I tried mine again and zapped for 45 seconds--not enough time--then went back to 60 seconds and needed a little more ---so a work in progress!! eggs still good thoWoman Very Happy
