yeah, dishwasher safe, guess you have to use your own judgement on microwave. I got Corelle for the main dishes, but, I just like melamine for lunch meat, bacon sandwich, cool summer food.

We don't use them often, but we picked up a few sets of these at Sam a few years ago for when we want to eat on the patio or when we have a family cookout.  I love so many of the melamine patterns, but this talavera style really does it for me.

I love melamine plates to use at home. I get the Pioneer Woman ones at Walmart, $1 a piece last year. Very pretty floral colours.

My favorite pattern of hers is that big blue and red rose. forget the name. Those are so beautiful . wish she would come out with a 1 cup measuring cup instead of that 2 cup. Find at Walmart.

Got mine today ! love them? really big plates. 10.25 inches

Even Hoss Cartwright could put plenty of food on these babies.

 

Really glad I snatched them up.  Hibiscus color is nice.
