I have been using Ina Garten mini meatloaf recipe. They come out delish, but there is always fat resting on top of meatloaf. I put meatloaf into the mini pan, then put some ketchup on top, and bake 45 min at 350 degrees.
How can I NOT get the fat on top?? When I see pictures of meatloaf, they usually show nice and browned on top. Even without the ketchup glaze, they still have the fat dripping on top.
BTW, the recipe does call for 80 percent ground beef. So I don't want to use less fat, because I will loose the taste.
Any ideas??
