I remember reading that this was really good so I tried it today. Made lamb instead of beef. Added baby potatoes, baby carrots, pearl onions and string beans. Added the amount of water instructed and then added some red wine.
It turned out so salty that it was almost inedible. We don't cook with salt and only add small amounts if absolutely necessary. We each only ate a little bit and sopped up what we could with bread to cut the taste. What a shame the rest will be ending up in the garbage.
