Mayonaise .... Which Do You Prefer

After reading the 1950's food post I got curious. Which mayonnaise do you prefer?

I grew up on Miracle Whip but my WV husband grew up on Hellmanns. Found I preferred Hellmanns.

My brother and sisters still prefer Miracle Whip and would never use my beloved Hellmanns.

I grew up on and still prefer Miracle Whip too. Since it's not egg-based, I always feel it's not so prone to spoiling.

I'm a southern girl and I refuse to eat Miracle Whip, don't like 'sweet' mayo.

Only Blue Plate for me, if I can't have that, I will eat Dukes.

DH is originally from Ohio and he and his family use Miracle Whip.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

@Sheila P-Burg I prefer Hellman's, think Duke's is way over-rated, but will use pretty much any of them in a pinch. I like Miracle Whip but don't consider it mayo, so it's not in the running. Mayo and Miracle Whip actually have quite different formulas.

Best Foods. I think it's Hellman's in the east and Best Food in the west. Don't like Miracle Whip.

I don't like Miracle Whip! I don't want lemon in everything. I like Dukes or Hellmans. The others seem goopy to me.

I was raised on Best Foods mayo, and much prefer it over others. I use Miracle Whip in potato salad because of the slight tang.

@Sheila P-Burg Interesting question. Northeasterner here. Mom used Miracle Whip exclusively. When I got married in 1975 was introduced to Hellmans mayo and never used Miracle Whip Salad Dressing again.

Like McCain's--found in New England--Kraft is also okay. Moved to DC a couple of years ago and like Duke's the best. I also like that it is still in the old school full 32 oz. jars. The other brands (except I think McCain's) skimp on the size.

Of course once in a while I make my own in my Vitamix and that is THE best.

Can't tolerate anything made with canola oil--my digestive system will not tolerate it at all.
