Maybe I'll get a Keurig now...

...since I just read they're offering one called "Drinkworks" that makes cocktails from pods for a mere $299.

Yikes, where's the rolly-eye emoji when I need it!

I'm not a coffee drinker and DH is a purist - he has to grind his mail order beans (usually when I'm trying to watch TV, but that's another story) Woman Wink

Slate has an amusing review.  Like how lazy do you have to be to use a gin & tonic pod instead of simply mixing gin & tonic water?  And how much booze could you buy for $299???  Plus these pods are $2.25 and $3,99 apiece.

What next?

I prefer a whole pot of coffee made at one time, with DH & I it doesn't last long enough to taste 'old'.

And I'm pretty simplistic with drinks, don't need a pod for vodka & club soda with a slice of lemon, LOL!

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Yeah thats an easy pass.  I'm amazed at what people are willing to spend $300 on these days though.

Yes need the eye rolling emoji.

I have fresh ground coffee in my Keurig every day, using the adapter cup😀 I don’t use the pods that often.

Take time every day to enjoy where you are without a need to fix it

Re: Maybe I'll get a Keurig now...

I shake my head over these types of posts...you may not want it but others do, so why do you care? To call people lazy...good grief, they may only have a drink once in a while & don't want bottles that've been opened setting around. I don't drink, never have so I won't be buying the Drinkworks but for those who do....their decision, their money, their business.

I, too, have fresh ground Sumatra coffee in my Keurig every day.  Just smelling those incredible coffee beans/grounds is more enticing than the thought of any cocktail pod!
