In case any David fans missed the announcement: On Sunday, Mary DeAngelis will be hosting ITKWD with Stacey on QVC 2 because A) David will be at the International Home & Housewares show in Chicago and B) the main channel is showing fashion programming for the whole day. But if you love David, don't skip the show, because he will be checking in for a few "special segments."

Just thought I'd share in advance of the invevitable next thread of "Where's David?!"

I think it would be so cool to see all the up and coming kitchen innovations!

I'd be like a kid in the candy store!

@loriqvc   ITKWD is not even listed on the Program Guide for Sunday.  I think their IT department is so overworked with all the changes going on it it's impossible to keep up with who's on 1st.

You know Mary will say ay least 6 times an hour where David is and there will be least 2 threads asking where he is.

@grandma2pkmh - Thank you SO much for your comment! I can't believe I omitted half of my reason for posting this information—ITKWD is going to be on *Q2* this week due to a whole day of fashion programming on the main channel. Just in case no one reads this far, I'll amend my original post.

@loriqvc  thanks for the heads up. I have set it on record. I saw QVC is just fashions and wondered what is going on. I hope with David going to Chicago we can see new products. I do miss when they traveled to different states & found new products. I understand it is a huge expense to do that. Just find items & let the vendors come to the studio.

David posted a pic of himself on plane on way to Chicago Housewares Show.

Yes, he posted the same info on his page about checking in with ITKWM show.  Will be looking forward to seeing new things from home show.

David is also checking in during ITKWM today and just announced that in a little while, he'll be sharing the debut of a new QVC-exclusive color from Le Creuset along with a preview of the Le Creuset TSV coming up on Wednesday.

UPDATE: The new color is "emerald," a deep green. I guess we shouldn't be surprised when green is David's favorite color and he helped to develop it!

(I actually find it quite unattractive, but hopefully others will like it. It's not quite a dark forest green and definitely not the color I associate with emerald green, so if you don't buy items from Le Creuset, I'm not sure what it will match.)
