I have watched you for so many years and loved you for your gentle spirit and sweetness. Now to know you will soon be a grandmother is so exciting. I am so very happy for you. It is such a wonderful experience. Watching you on the show I was crying right along with you, but they were tears of joy so that was okay. I had a friend who used to say Grandchildren are God's reward for not murdering your children. LOL But it is truly a wonderful experience and I know you will be an awesome Grandma. God Bless you and all of your family and may this child be a joy and a blessing to everyone he/she meets!!!

I have a feeling that whole thing was staged, IMO the Q has stooped to a new low.

@blackhole99 I don't think so- her son called in and said he wasn't calling about 'the tupperware' !! If it was staged he would have at least said 'lock and lock'!!!

Why would he call the show to tell his mother that she's going to be a grandmother? Why wouldn't he wait to call her at home? Did he call his father before making this grand announcement on TV?

Doesn't pass my smell test for authenticity.

I see the usual negative nellies have to shown up to kill the buzz. It was a cute call whether staged or not. And Eric said that his father was there with him and his wife.

Of course the other show hosts having the bib ready to give to MB was a little shifty. And the "Tupperware" made me laugh.

@blackhole99 What makes you think it was staged? Mary Beth's children pretty much grew up on QVC. I remember when the oldest son (the one who called in) was in college at the time finally put his foot down on reading the Christmas Story on air. Actually, I miss family participation at Christmas time.
