I used to drink a few times a week, in the evening. This year I decided to try Dry January as so many have done, including some of my friends. Then it turned into Dry February, then March, etc.

The other night we were out and I decided to have one small drink and I hated the way it made me feel.

I don't drink. It is a personal choice but I have to taste new drinks and beer that we have in the restaurant I work at.

My husband and I do not drink alcohol. It is for personal reasons. Others in both of our families have alcohol. It is just something that neither of us feel we want or need.

I did purchase the Gaze a few years ago and when we had people over I offered it to them if they felt they wanted something more than water Smiley Happy!

I record the gourmet holiday shows. I'm watching it now and Mary Beth said "We love these. It's in our home and I just ordered some more because I want them this summer". During the presentation she did drink each flavor and said she loves them even though she's not a big drinker. She said her favorite is the black cherry

She probably wasn't drinking wine.  I think 99% of the time, the hosts aren't drinking real wine.

A few years ago, during a wine TSV presentation,  Mary Beth indicated that she and her husband were beginning to learn more about wines, explore different types and were indeed novice wine consumers.

As for the ever popular topic is it really wine....I still contend that yes, indeed, it is.

I would like to see a tape of a show saying she never drinks alcohol. If she's like many people, she doesn't consider herself a drinker, but will have an occasional drink, and will take a sip of the product being sold.

Years ago I seem to remember that she was selling crystal wine glasses. She made the comment that she didn't drink alcoholic beverages  but used them for ice tea or something like that.

I remember when Mary Beth stated on-air that she and her husband did not drink alcohol, so she would not taste the wine if it was being presented.  I believe she said it was for religious reasons. That was many, many years ago, probably about 20 years ago, when I used to watch QVC alot.  I don't watch much anymore so I don't know if she still abstains or what.  Her choice.  But I believed when she said it at that time that she meant zero alcohol consumption.

I don't drink alcohol either, have never been a big fan of alcohol and its taste. I mean I have had wine at weddings in the past, a couple sips here and there, but never order drinks at dinner, my husband and I just don't care for it.

Nothing wrong with it, it is our preference. We don't fault people who do enjoy their wine or whatever...
