There is no way I will buy the new Keurig. I love my choice of k-cups and have no desire to be forced to switch over to Green Mountain varieties. I enjoy my Brown and Gold varieties and the Second Cup varieties too much to switch. Similarly, my husband enjoys iced coffee and his flavor of choice is not made by Green Mountain.
I am confused. The new Keurig uses the same old, same old K-cups and also the new larger K-Cups to make more than a single cup.

Carmie, the 2.0 uses k-cup by Green Mountain that were made after 7/2014.
It won't brew Crazy Cups PB&J or Green Mountain Breakfast Blend made in 6/2014.
Also, for those who like the hot water feature, it will only put out 6 ounces at a time.

Thanks for the info HonnyBrown. I saw the presentation and there was no mention about this unit not being able to use the older k-cups. I saw that they are sending a lot of single k-cups with this unit.
My hubby only drinks Donut Shop and I swear that the k-cups looked the same as we already have.
I am going to pass on this new unit too. I have 2 very old models, they are very loud, but they still work.

It has a built-in camera? What would you use that for? Some people are gadget-holics and will buy it, but for me it's just another thing that can go wrong.

Walmart has a 2.0 for $119.99 at a local store. I didn't check the model number.

I don't think the water part's true. I saw her push the brew button for water and she held it down until she was done.

I don't know how technical it is, it will be used like a scanner. It will show a few different things with it and they just want their approved cups to be used. Even tho there's already 10 ways to override it. Most of the flavors I drink are going to work so no biggie to me.
I may miss using my own coffee, but I'll just think of the mess I'm not making.
Hopefully it will last, but I'm storing my platinum just in case. ![]()

It's the 350. They have all the models here. And every other one cup brewer ever made.
