March 13- Today is Coconut Torte Day

Never tasted one, but it sounds good!!! Smiley Happy

I make a 3 Day Coconut Cake, that is suppose to sit 3 days in the refrig.

After about 2 hours, my hubby is ready to eat some. It never makes it to 3 days.

I've never heard of that type before, but if there is a recipe somewhere that is great - I'm up for trying it!

I think chickenbutt and I must be bookends when it comes to food likes....I completely second what you wrote about the varieties of coconut with all you listed and maybe even some you didn't!

Coconut Torte Day??? Hmmmm......up for that too! I have a new bag of coconut in my cupboard!

Barbarainnc, Love, love coconut too. Any chance you would share the 3 Day coconut cake recipe? It sure sounds interesting and a different choice for a springtime dessert. But I doubt it would last that long in our home like at your. Thanks. Cece.
