I used to watch her cooking show years ago when she was on the food channel and I just loved watching her.  Every year I ask my sister to make Paula's homemade egg nog for Christmas.  OMG is it good.  It is like drinking a milkshake, but more dangerous.  LOL  I like watching her because she has such a happy personality and with so much nastiness in the world today, I like watching happy people.

I used to love to see her dog, Gertie, relaxing in the kitchen as she was cooking. She didn't beg, but it was cute when Paula would occasionally toss her a treat.

Positively Paula comes on OTA here, and I watch that sometimes. The scenery on her property is beautiful.

@Moonlady    I think Gertie belonged to Paula's  producer and his family.  She hung around the set, but wasn't Paula's dog.

I liked her son as the host of The Holiday Baking Show on The Food Network.

Wish they would get rid of Jesse Palmer.

I enjoy watching her and her sons. The son's finish on the 10"skillets I purchased (granit T??) is really terrific. One non-stick that works and the outside is ss. Paula 'stole' the finish in her later air fryers.

@Carmie  you are correct.  In fact that whole show was filmed in upstate NY at the producers home.     That was when Paula Deen was actually pleasant to watch.  

Gertie was always one of my favorites.    What a sweet dog!

You enjoy them and obviously millions of others enjoy them too so what difference does it make if there are people who don't like them ?????
